As a Software Engineer in our in-house ERP Engineering team, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful delivery of our project portfolio. You will be responsible for the development and enhancement of modern SAP integration processes within our SAP S/4HANA systems, focusing purely on modern cloud integration and API-led connectivity utilizing the SAP Integration Suite, rather than legacy point-to-point middleware. WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • Design & Implement iFlows: You will handle complex development, testing, and debugging of Integration Flows (iFlows) utilizing advanced message routing (Content-Based Router, Multicast, Scatter-Gather) and transformations (XSLT, Groovy, Message Mapping).

  • Drive API-Led & Event-Driven Architecture: You will design and scale modern connectivity solutions leveraging SAP API Management (gateways, policies, developer portal) and SAP Event Mesh for event-driven architectures.

  • Manage B2B & Third-Party Integrations: You will enable seamless external connectivity using Open Connectors, Trading Partner Management for B2B onboarding, and the Integration Advisor for B2B/EDI message mapping.

  • Ensure Robust Security & Error Handling: You will safeguard enterprise data by implementing robust error handling (Exception Subprocess, Dead Letter Queues) and managing secure connections (OAuth 2.0, SAML, mTLS, PGP encryption, and Keystore/Truststore management).

  • Collaborate & Mentor: You will act as a reliable and trusted team member who partners closely with business stakeholders to translate constraints into flawless technical architectures, while supporting colleagues through knowledge sharing and hands-on training.

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • You Are a Modern SAP Integration Expert: You have at least 4+ years of current, relevant work experience focusing heavily on SAP Cloud Integration (CPI/HCI) as a primary iPaaS engine for message-based integrations.

  • You Bring Deep Protocol & Adapter Knowledge: You possess extensive hands-on experience with diverse message protocols (SOAP, REST/HTTP, OData, SFTP, AMQP, JMS, AS2, AS4, IDOC) and adapter types (HTTP, SuccessFactors, Ariba, S/4HANA, XI/RFC).

  • You Embrace the Broader Integration Suite: You have practical knowledge of the wider SAP Integration Suite ecosystem, including API Management, Event Mesh, and Open Connectors. Experience with Data Space Integration is highly welcomed.

  • You Understand Enterprise Security: You have a solid grasp of securing integrations through externalized parameters, Credential Store / Security Material management, Basic Auth, and Client Certificates.

  • You Are an Adaptable Problem Solver: You own a practical, hands-on work approach with a systematic and analytical mindset. You exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, allowing you to articulate technical complexities clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.
