The application management system allows you to apply directly to vacancies at the Zalando SE as well as zLabels GmbH, Zalon, zOutlet Berlin GmbH, zOutlet Frankfurt GmbH, Zalando Customer Care DACH SE & Co. KG, Zalando Customer Care International SE & Co. KG, Zalando Lounge Service GmbH, Zalando Logistics SE & Co. KG, Zalando Logistics Mönchengladbach SE & Co. KG, Zalando Content Creation SE & Co. KG, Zalando SAS, metrigo GmbH, nugg.ad GmbH, Zalando Ireland Ltd., Zalando Oy (in the following: the Zalando Group).

Personal data means any information about material or personal circumstances of a specific and identifiable natural person. This includes your name, your telephone number, your address, as well as all application data that you share with us in the course of your application.
For the purposes of managing your online application, we will collect, process, and use your personal data that you have disclosed to us via the online application form. With the exception of the mandatory fields marked with asterisks, you decide yourself which data you are willing to enter and share with us. The mandatory fields include your first name and surname, email address, phone number.
Your data will be transmitted to the HR department in charge and used exclusively for the purposes of the application process. This also includes using the data to contact you. Your data will not be disclosed to any third party – other than in the context of data processing commissions – without your express consent.
Your data will be transmitted to our HR department in encrypted form. We are also happy to pass on your application to other Zalando Group companies or persons in charge of departments with vacancies or other functional areas that fit your applicant profile. Please notify us if you do not consent to this.
Furthermore, we will use your email address to contact you for the purpose of a survey pertaining your satisfaction with the completed application process.
Suitable technical and organizational measures are in place to ensure that your data can only be accessed and used by the companies of the Zalando Group that you applied for or by those your application has been forwarded according paragraph 2.2.
With the acceptance of the application consent in the application process you give your explicit permission to the forwarding of your application documents, application, or applicant details to other Zalando Group companies. You can revoke your consent at any time.
For our application management we use the services of Greenhouse Software Inc., 455 Broadway, New York NY, 10013 USA („Greenhouse“). For this purpose, your data is being stored and processed on servers of Greenhouse, located in the USA. The storage is happening within the framework of a data processing agreement.
Greenhouse was selected with due care and respects applicable data protection rules.
Whenever you access the online application form, your internet browser will transmit user data that is stored in so-called server log files. The stored data includes the following details: The data and time of the visit, the name of the accessed page, your IP address; referrer URL (the URL from which you access the Zalando application site), the amount of data transmitted, as well as product and version details of your browser.
Your IP address will be deleted or made anonymous immediately after the end of visit. To make anonymous means to modify personal data in such a way that details of personal or material circumstances can no longer or only with disproportionate investment of time, cost, and labour be attributed to an identified or identifiable natural person.
We analyse these log files in anonymous form for the purposes of improving the quality and user friendliness of our online application processes and managing our server capacity.
Your data will usually be deleted automatically three months after the end of the application process. You can always request us to delete your data by sending a mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that doing so means that you are withdrawing from any still on-going application processes.
Upon invitation by our recruiting team, you have the option to agree to the storage of your personal data for our talent pool after the completion of the application process. Should you wish to use that option, your application data will be stored by us for a period of 12 months.
After the end of the 12-month period, your application data will be deleted automatically.
You can always request us to delete the stored data by sending a mail to email@example.com.
We offer you the opportunity to apply for jobs via the social sign-in button “Apply with LinkedIn”, provided by the social network LinkedIn, operated by LinkedIn Corp., 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, California 94043, USA („LinkedIn“). This service allows you to apply to a job using your LinkedIn profile. If you click this button, you will be referred to LinkedIn, where you are demanded to enter your LinkedIn log-in data. By submitting this data, you permit us to access your LinkedIn profile. Before submitting, you can edit the data of your LinkedIn profile you want to share with us. At no time we will receive any information about your LinkedIn access data.
