THE ROLE & THE TEAM



ZPS Banking Operations team is responsible for operational payment transaction processes for all payment methods offered by Zalando Payments GmbH to Zalando platform customers. 

In Zalando Payments, we work to deliver a flawless Zalando customer experience during the checkout, as well as processing and reconciling customer payments. Through smart risk steering we boost conversion and deliver a competitive advantage to our customers, covering the entire financial process.   

As a Junior Manager in ZPS Banking Ops you will control and reconcile the payment settlement processes within our financial accounting systems.

Together with a strong team, you will support the optimisation of the operational processes related to payment transaction processing and reconciliation of settlements across various payment methods by interfacing with Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and Delivery Partners, as well as realising projects supporting Zalando Payments’ strategy. You will work closely with our Finance, Technology, Product and Customer Operations teams.

  • You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality financial operational processes, by following defined processes and procedures

  • You’ll resolve operational issues and seek guidance in case of high complexity or high impact topics, for example where standard solutions would not deliver desired effect and might create risk

  • You’ll assure the quality standards in your area of responsibility
