THE ROLE & THE TEAM
As a Senior Software Engineer in the Sales Orders Engineering team, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining robust Order Processing services and infrastructure. These services are critical for reliably processing orders for all Zalando customers, including Fashion Store and Lounge. You will drive continuous improvement by proactively challenging proposals, sharing your expertise, and providing constructive feedback to colleagues. You will lead projects end-to-end, from initial concept through implementation, collaborating closely with principal engineers and product managers. This involves creating clear technical narratives and contributing significantly to Technical Solution Design documents. Your strong sense of ownership will establish you as a key resource within the team’s technical and business domain.
