As a Salesforce Engineer at Zalando, you will design, build, enhance, and maintain existing and new force.com applications that will be used across Zalando in various business functions. You will challenge our status quo and help us define best practices for how we work.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
- Configure, deploy and customise HubSpot (Marketing/Website) and/or Salesforce to meet our specific business needs
- Ensure data integrity by implementing best data management and deduplication practices.
- Set up workflows, automation processes and integrations to improve team efficiency and lead nurturing processes.
- Serve as the first point of contact for any Hubspot-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving them promptly.
- You will constantly strive to optimise our systems and motivate your team to do likewise
- You will foster sound development practices and ensure a high quality delivery of solutions
- You will contribute to discussions and be actively involved in the decision making of our architecture and development
- You will embrace and promote agile methodologies across the team
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF YOU HAVE...
3-5 years of experience in developing and implementing customizations and extensions for the HubSpot CRM
Proven background as a Hubspot/Salesforce engineer managing E2E Marketing (Hubspot) and Sales (Salesforce) journeys including integration with social media applications and websites.
Hands-on experience with Hubspot/Salesforce with a track record of leading and delivering declarative solutions.
Utilise your expertise in RESTful APIs to make GET, POST, PUT, PATCH and DELETE requests to HubSpot, Salesforce and other applications..
Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript and libraries (e.g., React.js)
Salesforce Development experience is a plus.
Experience in deployment experience via VS code and version control systems such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN..
Excellent conceptual and analytical skills and a results-oriented mindset with a desire to collaborate with diverse teams, stakeholders and share knowledge.
Understanding of data sharing and visibility considerations in platform architecture, which needs to support large data volume limitations and follow best practices
High initiative and intrinsic motivation for the further development of your own understanding of technical solutions and fluency in the English language.
Hubspot development/integration certifications (Preferred) , Salesforce Platform Developer 1 certification (Nice to have)
