THE ROLE & THE TEAM
We are looking for a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our Partner Tech Tech Foundation. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development of full-stack applications, sharing frontend skills to backend developers, and owning domain-agnostic platform technologies that enable other domain teams to build domain-specific solutions. You will work closely with a group of proactive, self-organised, and collaborative engineers, who value teamwork and knowledge sharing.
WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
Develop, maintain, and improve our Partner Communication Platform with Kotlin/Java, Postgres, Kubernetes, AWS, TypeScript/JavaScript, and React.
Sharing knowledge on frontend development and best practices.
Take ownership and proactively identify opportunities for product improvement, optimising performance, and collaborating with other teams.
Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code, and transferring knowledge on design patterns and principles.
Collaborate with other engineers and teams to design scalable and robust solutions that meet the needs of our internal domain teams.
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
5+ years of experience in frontend and backend development, preferably with proficiency in Kotlin/Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, and React.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API design principles, cloud services, and authentication/authorization mechanisms.
Experience working with relational databases and event-driven systems is a plus.
Strong problem-solving aptitude and curiosity and willingness to learn new skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a self-organised and collaborative team as a team player.
