WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
Process Excellence (PEX) serves as the interface and first point of contact for transport, warehouse, product and central logistics teams for local and network wide process solutions. Hereby, we strive for continuous improvements and process standardisation in our Inhouse and 3PL operated warehouses (Hubs, Spokes, IDC, Returns Centres) as well as in Transport Operations (first, mid and final mile).
You are reporting into the Team Lead PEX Inbound & IDC and are contributing to initiatives we execute on the Zalando Group Strategy (ZGS). You challenge the norm, pushing the boundaries of convenience, speed, services, and costs for our customers and partners by optimising Inbound & IDC processes as a project owner
You own end-to-end process alignment, driving Inbound & IDC solutions and operations teams while collaborating with external partners like Controlling, Warehousing, and internal PEX teams
You strive to standardise Inbound & IDC processes, making our warehouse network more efficient and leaner through best practices and collaboration
You coordinate between Operations and Product teams to enhance warehouse systems, tools and master data while exchanging best practices with other Zalando teams
You establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to track the success of process improvement initiatives and provide regular updates to senior leadership
You’ll lead implementation of new propositions and market strategies by adjusting, enhancing or creating suitable processes
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF...
You’ve successfully delivered large-scale process improvement projects that have resulted in quantifiable business outcomes.
You take ownership of projects and initiatives in the areas of warehouse processes and ensure that these are delivered in accordance with determined requirements.
Your passion for operations and process management enables you to structure projects effectively, with strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and financial awareness.
You demonstrate high ownership, a bias for action, and a drive for continuous improvement, standardization, and working well both independently and in teams.
You quickly dive into complex challenges, persistently pursuing goals without losing sight of the bigger picture, have the resilience to drive change despite obstacles, and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels to foster collaboration.
You have excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and are able to communicate with a multilingual international customer base and teams at various levels, German language skills are a great advantage.
