WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
Consistently ship working, testable, maintainable, readable code/data to production in small and safe iterations. The solutions are performant, scalable and fulfill the set SLOs of the product
Own and operate backend microservices on top of Kubernetes and AWS
Making a positive impact on our engineering culture, encouraging knowledge sharing and driving technical discussions within the team and beyond
Perform code reviews, share knowledge and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Actively participate in team discussions, design decisions and requirements clarifications with stakeholders and product managers.
You keep learning and share your knowledge of state-of-the-art technologies that will help us innovate faster
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
You have solid knowledge of JVM based language(s) (Scala, Java, Kotlin), willingness and interest in learning Scala 3 (including libraries like ZIO and Caliban) and knowledge of software patterns and paradigms like continuous integration, test automation and deployment pipelines.
You have experience in specifying, planning, developing, maintaining and operating microservices using REST API (OpenAPI), GraphQL, Cloud Platforms (AWS, Kubernetes), PostgreSQL.
High level knowledge or interest in data engineering and familiarity with DAGs, data pipelines, S3, Superset, Databricks, or Airflow is a plus.
You have good communication and collaboration skills and enjoy working in an international and diverse environment with a positive no-job-is-beneath you attitude as a team player
You are self-motivated and have a proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
You have problem-solving skills and ability to apply logical and analytical thinking to complex problems
You have worked in international, multicultural companies before
