She emphasizes that today, these campaigns are not just about clearing overstock but strategically placing attractive stock to maximize sales, attract the repeat customers, and ensure growth.

What we learned in the past few years: we need to have the right timing for sales campaigns.”

Planning a sales campaign has transformed and evolved significantly over the past few years. Jette highlights how collaboration with other teams and understanding data is crucial to create well-timed campaigns that drive growth. Events like Cyber Week and Single’s Day are meticulously planned and monitored to bring desired results. What’s more, flexibility in timing is vital, especially when seasonal campaigns like summer sales need to adapt to different market conditions

Jette’s insights go beyond e-commerce. She shares valuable life lessons and leadership philosophies that resonate across industries, reflects on the past and the future and while processes have become more complex, her core philosophy remains: enjoy what you do and strive for continuous improvement.

“Life is too short to stay in unpleasant situations. Try to enjoy what you do!”
