The Commercial Analytics team is the analytical powerhouse and investigative engine for the ZMS Commercial organization. We empower our Sales, Media Operations, and Commercial Development teams to navigate the market successfully by turning complex data into actionable commercial strategies.
We are the central hub where all partner and campaign performance questions land. As standard reporting is often not enough to answer the deeper "why" questions, we step in to provide clarity. We are looking for an analytical "all-rounder" to join the team as a Commercial Analyst. You will handle a dynamic mix of recurring operational reporting and varied, ad-hoc deep dives, acting as a crucial service partner to multiple commercial stakeholders.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
The Analytical All-Rounder: You act as a versatile service partner across the commercial organization. You will field requests from Sales (e.g., partner pitch data), Media Operations (e.g., campaign delivery insights), and Commercial Development (e.g., ad format performance trends).
Answering the "Why": You are the go-to investigator for partner and campaign performance. When a brand challenges their ROAS or a campaign underdelivers, you dive deep into the data to find the root cause and provide a clear, data-backed narrative.
Recurring Steering Support: You work closely with the Senior Commercial Analyst to support our core operational cadences. You will help prepare the recurring data inputs for the weekly Media Steering meetings and track ongoing pacing and ROI KPIs.
Ad-Hoc Deep Dives: You confidently manage a high-volume, dynamic pipeline of analytical requests. One day you might be analyzing the upsell potential of a specific partner segment, and the next you might be investigating the click-through-rate drop on a specific ad placement.
Commercial Storytelling: You do not just pull numbers; you translate complex data (SQL queries, dashboard outputs) into clear, compelling, and actionable recommendations for non-technical commercial stakeholders.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You’re proud of a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, Marketing, or a related field, and have 2-4 years of professional experience in Digital Marketing Analytics, Retail Media, or E-commerce Commercial Analytics.
You are highly adaptable and thrive in an "all-rounder" role where your daily tasks vary between recurring reporting and solving complex, ad-hoc puzzles.
You possess strong technical data skills: You are highly proficient in SQL to extract complex data, and you are skilled in BI visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, MicroStrategy) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets.
Ideally, you have some exposure to modern cloud data platforms (like Databricks), which is a plus as we continue to expand our analytics infrastructure.
You are familiar with AI-tooling (Cursor, Claude Code, Genie Code) and have first-hand experience leveraging the tools to improve your workflow productivity. GitHub experience is a strong plus.
You have a solid understanding of full-funnel digital advertising metrics (e.g., CTR, CVR, ROAS, CPC, CPM).
You are a natural "Data Storyteller" with a strong customer service mindset, able to synthesize millions of data points into a concise narrative that a Sales Manager can confidently present to a brand partner.
