THE ROLE & THE TEAM
As our local HR Business Partner (all genders), you will be responsible for the People & Organisation (P&O) processes for the local Zalando employees at our Logistics Site in the Netherlands. Besides that, you are also supporting the Zalando Logistics Site Lead with HR-related contract management of our Logistics Service Provider (Ceva Logistics).
In this generalist role you act independently and pro-actively on local P&O topics within your scope and you collaborate and align with other Zalando P&O Teams and local business stakeholders like site management and 3PL. Your hands-on approach makes you flexible in managing topics ranging from operational to strategic level.
Please note: this role is part-time, and we’re looking for someone to join our team for 24-36 hours per week

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
You are responsible for the full employment lifecycle and you ensure a smooth customer experience for both employees and stakeholders.
Build and maintain a roadmap of company events, team activities and internal communication that drive employee engagement, learning and development, with the goal of maintaining our company culture.
Collaborate with the central headquarter teams and other warehouses in the network to provide frameworks for enabling leaders on people topics.
Be the go-to person for supporting various ad-hoc office and HR projects as they arise from our teams.
You will be partnering with the onsite 3PL in order to optimize their performance according to the Zalando P&O Expectations framework.
You will work on a variety of P&O topics, projects and initiatives as an owner (or contributor). For example:
Together with the central Payroll you manage the monthly payroll for the local team; you manage hires and terminations in the team
Coordinate the annual performance cycle on site
Align with Total Rewards on market trends in the Netherlands;
Discuss P&O data and performance with stakeholders
Participate in monthly and quarterly business reviews of the site.
Conduct recruitment and onboarding processes.
Actively work with HR KPIs and our employee survey as a steering tool to maintain and strengthen the health of our business by providing insights and translating them into actionable measures.
You will be joining a small -but great- on site team as well as a professional international P&O team, supported by many central stakeholders.
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
You have experience in managing the full cycle of P&O processes and documentation within the Netherlands
You have a strong understanding of Dutch Employment & Labour Law, as well as Dutch Industrial Relations Framework, and have practised this in an international working environment
You have a pragmatic, hands-on approach and you are willing to act on both an operational as well as strategic level
Ability to deliver results with little supervision in a dynamic and often ambiguous environment.
You are solution-oriented, you love organisational challenges and convince with a careful, independent careful way of working
You analyse data insights to recommend strategies and anticipate future P&O developments
You have the ability to liaise & partner with different teams within the organisation, and on the site (3PL)
Ideally you have working experience in Logistics/Warehouse environments and the outsourced 3PL concept.
You are fluent in Dutch and English

ABOUT ZALANDO LOGISTICS OPERATIONS NETHERLANDS
Our warehouse houses one of the largest ecom operations in the Benelux region. We started being operational at the end of 2021 and continue to expand the operations. The highly automated process operates using cutting-edge solutions such as (kilo)meters of conveyors, a bag sorter with hundreds of thousands bags, and an automatic pick-shuttle.
We operate an area of 143.000m2 and can ship almost 5 million items per week! We process and ship thousands of orders every day - to customers in Europe.
We have outsourced the operation to a Logistics Service provider. With the onsite Zalando team we manage the relationship with the service providers in order to obtain the best possible performance results for Zalando customers.
