THE ROLE & THE TEAM
We’re looking for a creative AI motion specialist with a strong background in motion-based content creation and a good understanding in generative AI video. This role focuses on producing premium AI-generated video content, motion elements, and fashion-led visual storytelling, combining Adobe-based workflows with emerging AI tools.
You will be responsible for creating AI based motion elements, animations, and visual effects for our digital banners and campaign assets. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of motion principles, excellent technical execution, and a fashion-forward creative mindset.
This role requires close collaboration with multiple teams to deliver visually compelling content that is aligned with Zalando’s brand visual language and identities.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING):
Hands-on and experience with AI video & image generation (text-to-video + image-to-video pipelines)but also concept-driven.
Utilize software tools such as Adobe After Effects, Premier, Photoshop, or any other relevant programs to produce motion content.
Strong aesthetic judgment in fashion visuals.
Updated with industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques into motion projects.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF YOU:
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in motion graphics, animation, or a comparable creative role, supported by a portfolio that includes AI-driven video or motion work.
Strong technical proficiency with AI video and motion tools, such as Gemini / Veo or similar generative AI platforms.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders in fluent English.
Proactive and innovative mindset, with a demonstrated interest in exploring new AI video capabilities and driving creative improvement.
Excellent time management, adaptability, and resilience in fast-paced environments with evolving tools, shifting requirements, and rapid iteration cycles.
