You’ll help make Zalando a dynamic voice in culture, always relevant and responsive to the world around us. We are looking for someone who lives and breathes French culture, influencer marketing and social media. Someone who knows how to spot the signals before they become trends, and how to turn those insights into scroll-stopping content.
As (Senior) Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager, you’ll play a key role in identifying, shaping, and reacting to cultural moments that matter to our audience. You have a sharp creative eye, are fluent in French pop culture, and know how to deal with influencers and craft social-first storytelling that resonates across platforms from scratch. This role requires someone hands-on, proactive, and excited by the fast-paced, real-time nature of social.
We’re looking for someone with their finger on the pulse when it comes to trends and innovation who can bring something new to the table. This is a fast paced role for someone who can work to produce first-class content and ensure its high-quality in an ever changing landscape.
You’ll collaborate closely with creators, agencies, and internal stakeholders to bring culture to life in our content-reacting quickly, but always strategically. With the internal teams and external agencies, you’ll be planning and steering social native content that turns the wider initiatives of the business into digital stories that connect with our audience.
WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
Oversee French Instagram (IG) platform operations, including content planning, creation, publishing, and scheduling.
Launch and manage organic campaigns, supporting paid media efforts, and sourcing product needs for content.
Manage IM, SoMe, and community management agencies.
Handle crisis communications in coordination with corporate communications.
Track key metrics, compile monthly reports, and share performance learnings.
Attend events in France for independent content creation (shooting/editing).
Align content with business moments, seasonal events, and cultural relevance.
Responsible for local content creation, creative translation and adaptation of global assets, and all copy/language translations.
Execute social media campaigns, brief content stakeholders, and continuously optimize performance.
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF…
Experience: You have at least 6+ years’ experience across different social media platforms and Influencer Marketing in France. You have experience on set, productions, events, which makes you independent to create social-native content
You speak French fluently (native / mother tongue) and are fluent in English
You’re an Instagram, TikTok and culture guru: aware of the latest trends, features, creators and celebrity news.
You’re a creative spark: You have a creative mindset and can drive Zalando through frequent platform changes with innovative ideas.
Organized with stellar stakeholder skills: You’re driven and can deliver results in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage several key stakeholders, both external and internally.
Mobility & frequent travels: This job offer requires the mobility in France and abroad to attend events but also to frequently join our Berlin headquarter
