As a Product Safety Manager in the Zalando Lounge Content Solutions, you will be part of a high performing team and required to work with vigor, agility and open mind while being diligent in supporting the team in ensuring safety of products offered on Lounge by Zalando website.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
Data-Driven Analysis: Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to assess product quality and compliance, identifying problem areas and generating insights for DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) cycles. Your analytical skills will be key in driving strategic initiatives and making informed, data-driven decisions.
KPI Management: Lead the development, tracking, and evolution of team KPIs to ensure alignment with business objectives. Regularly update and review KPIs to foster continuous improvement, and prepare comprehensive reports summarizing data analysis findings and compliance check results.
Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies within existing processes and propose data-driven improvements. Develop and implement process improvement plans, tracking progress and measuring the impact to enhance product quality assurance strategies.
Compliance Oversight: Conduct compliance checks for supplier onboarding and article spot checks. Work closely with the team to develop and implement solutions to ensure compliance with regulations, such as the General Product Safety Regulation.
Collaborative Problem Solving: Collaborate with team members to discuss findings from data analysis and compliance checks, and work together to implement constructive solutions.
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
You have solid knowledge and experience in product safety field (3-5 years) and overall overview on European legislation applicable to product range offered by Zalando Lounge
You possess exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to lead data-driven projects from start to finish, driving continuous process improvements.
You are adept at managing KPIs and using data insights to make strategic decisions that positively impact business objectives and compliance strategies.
Your communication skills in English are excellent, both written and spoken, enabling you to effectively convey complex information and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
You have a comprehensive understanding of project management and data analysis tools, including GSuite (Tableau, Sheets, Slides, Gmail), to support efficient project execution and stakeholder management.
You are proactive in adapting to new regulations and have experience in managing projects related to compliance and quality assurance.
