THE ROLE & THE TEAM

In this role you will mainly support the Zalando Outlet Stores - an entity with a diverse group of employees and a broad variety of topics. Reporting into the Lead P&O Business Partner, you will work alongside one P&O Business Partner and a Senior Learning & Development Manager responsible for the Zalando Outlet Stores, and closely collaborate with other P&O functions and partner up with the leadership team to develop and execute the HR strategy and roadmap, supporting the health and development of the organization. You will furthermore contribute to business unit specific as well as central projects, closely collaborating with P&O experts.


 

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • You know the overall business priorities and you proactively initiate and lead initiatives and ad-hoc focus topics in designated Zalando Stores and beyond while working cross functionally and leveraging resources & best practices, contributing to the companies success.

  • You provide expertise on performance management, compensation & benefits, career development, personnel measures, compliance and more and you autonomously consult, inspire and enable leaders on a diverse range of people topics.

  • You analyze relevant KPIs, provide insights and translate them into actionable measures.

  • You have the ability to deliver results with little supervision in a dynamic and often ambiguous environment.

  • You partner with the Business Leaders to improve their zBeat (engagement survey) results across all teams, to engage, retain and attract top talent.

  • You are a thought partner to leaders by providing inspiration and coaching to support their leadership effectiveness and building a great (leadership) team.

  • You are on-site in stores 2-3 days per week.


WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • You have a minimum of 2+ years professional experience in HR business partnering or a similar role, ideally in a large, fast pace, dynamic organisation.

  • You are a reliable sparring partner for leads and enjoy winning them over with facts and figures and a certain dose of charm; you have courage to raise your opinion in a constructive manner, while also being an active listener, open to new perspectives.

  • You have strong solution development capabilities and a clear and structured communication, adjusted to stakeholders on all levels of the organization

  • Analytical thinking and using data insights proficiently

  • You have deep Knowledge of the German labour law

  • Fluency in English and German is a must have
