WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
You’ll be a recognized subject matter expert for resilience management at Zalando.
You’ll continuously improve the performance of processes/systems around resilience by applying your extensive expertise to identify and recommend improvements. You’ll independently implement the changes and measure their impact.
You’ll develop and optimize our business continuity and crisis management program at Zalando under the guidance of the department head.
You’ll be a sparring partner to the business functions on topics related to business continuity and crisis management and help them define an adequate level of risk mitigation and resilience.
You'll be planning, preparing, and executing business impact analyses (BIA) and supporting the business functions in the development and implementation of business continuity plans (BCP).
You'll be responsible for planning and preparation of stress tests of BCPs and joint exercises with the crisis response team.
You’ll take ownership of operational topics and resolve them independently.
You’ll conduct threat analyses and handle crisis-related ad-hoc situations as part of the crisis support team, treating them as an opportunity to create a positive impact on our business.
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
You have completed studies in business administration, economics, security management, or a similar field and have expert knowledge in Resilience Management.
You convince through a proven track record in crisis and business continuity management that will allow you to improve the respective management system.
You are familiar with industry best practices, standards, and regulations around resilience management (especially ISO 22301, BSI 200-4, ISO 2700x) and have the ability to apply this knowledge and help steer the team and the business toward creating a common understanding of the requirements outlined by these standards and how they impact Zalando.
You have an affinity for IT-controlled working methods and solutions.
You have first experiences in the independent conception and implementation of workshops / trainings
You are used to interacting with senior management and important stakeholders and can tailor your communication to ensure buy-in and tone for resilience projects and initiatives.
You can pitch and challenge ideas and solutions around resilience management to senior management and underline their importance to Zalando’s business activities as well as manage their expectations and find compromise to reach your department’s goals.
You build strong interpersonal relationships and are able to share your knowledge and actively collaborate on business continuity and crisis with other affected functions (decentral BCM teams, security teams, business functions, etc.).
You are a proactive and passionate team player who is motivated to collaborate with others and ready to take on responsibilities quickly.
You have an excellent level of written and verbal communication skills in both German and English language.
