THE ROLE & THE TEAM


As Site Lead (all genders), you will take overall operational and strategic accountability for our major logistics hub in Magnice (Wrocław region), Poland. Acting as the executive link between local site operations, our third-party logistics (3PL) partner, and Zalando headquarters, you will govern contractual relationships, steer key performance metrics, and champion continuous improvement to ensure seamless delivery across Europe.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)


  • Lead local site operations end-to-end, steering our 3PL provider to consistently meet service level agreements (SLAs), operational key performance indicators (KPIs), capacities, and Zalando social standards.
  • Govern partner and contract management, overseeing end-to-end operational agreements, budgeting, invoicing, and subcontracts for local automation assets.
  • Serve as the strategic liaison between central functions and local operations to align forecasting, track metrics, and optimize site logistics costs.
  • Drive continuous operational improvement initiatives and projects across the site and the wider Zalando fulfilment network to elevate customer proposition and site efficiency.
  • Represent site interests and steer stakeholders while fostering an inclusive culture aligned with Zalando standards and values.



WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • You bring demonstrated leadership experience within a large-scale fulfilment center, contract logistics, or automated operational environment.
  • You show a proven track record of managing complex 3PL contracts, negotiating SLAs, and controlling operational budgets.
  • You possess strong data-driven decision-making capabilities and experience leading continuous improvement initiatives.
  • You demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to align central functions and external partners toward shared goals.
  • You offer full professional fluency in both Polish (mandatory) and English.
