THE ROLE & THE TEAM

Zalando Bucharest is our newest site designed to consolidate and scale expert services, ensuring operational excellence as we evolve our global footprint.  In this role, you will join an international team of 15 ERP consultants managing P2P, B2B, SD, and POS processes across our on-premise SAP S/4 systems and associated integrations. We operate in a fast-paced environment utilizing the latest SAP, VIM, and Coupa technologies, with a strong focus on teamwork, knowledge sharing, and Clean Core principles.

As a Senior VIM Consultant, you will support the execution of our invoice processing within the P2P direct and indirect procurement strategy by developing and scaling core business processes. You will serve a broad matrix of stakeholders through a balanced mix of operational maintenance and project support. Leveraging your consulting experience, you will also help shape, grow, and technically support the team and our support processes moving forward.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • Architect Enterprise Integrations: You’ll design and architect the end-to-end integration of OpenText VIM into our S/4HANA MM, Coupa, and FI landscapes.

  • Optimize Global Process Templates: You’ll design robust, global templates for automated 3-way matching, EDI inbound/outbound processing, and intelligent exception routing.

  • Drive Compliance Strategy: You’ll define the technical strategy for automated tax compliance, localized legal requirements, and automated debit/credit note generation frameworks.

  • Evaluate Advanced Automation: You’ll evaluate and implement advanced OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and IES (Information Extraction Service) models to optimize automated invoice data capture.

  • Support and Grow the Team: You’ll encourage innovative thinking, process improvement, and automation beyond standard practices, while actively sharing your knowledge to help scale the local team.

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • You’re a Seasoned AP & VIM Expert: You bring 5 to 8+ years of SAP Accounts Payable (AP) experience, with at least 4+ years specifically focused on architecting OpenText VIM solutions.

  • You Navigate Complex Landscapes: You are highly tech-savvy and comfortable aligning technical VIM strategies with broader corporate procurement roadmaps and compliance frameworks.

  • You Build Strong Partnerships: You possess strong English language skills, allowing you to thrive in an international environment, collaborate with engineers, and manage diverse stakeholder expectations effectively.
