THE ROLE & THE TEAM 

At ZEOS Capital, we are building an embedded finance and asset-based lending platform for the fashion and lifestyle industry. By leveraging our deep understanding of platform performance and logistics, we provide our merchants with fast, flexible, and data-driven working capital solutions. Our mission is to remove financial friction, enabling brands and retailers to seamlessly invest in their inventory and scale their businesses on the Zalando platform and beyond.

As a Senior / Principal Partner Consultant, you will be part of the founding commercial team for ZEOS Capital. We are looking for a self-driven, highly commercial individual responsible for driving the adoption of our new financing products (from flexible credit lines to, in the future, inventory-backed loans) among our top fashion brands and retailers in the Partner Program. You will act as a strategic financial advisor, helping partners unlock liquidity to fuel their growth. As a representative for ZEOS Capital, you will work closely with various internal teams, especially Partner Program, ZEOS and Payments, as well as our external Fintech partners, to deliver a flawless financing experience and holistic commercial opportunities.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING) 

  • Build and strengthen relationships with key merchants (from D2C brands to large multi-brand retailers), providing insightful, data-driven recommendations on how they can leverage ZEOS Capital to optimize their working capital and drive long-term business growth. 

  • Actively manage and grow a dedicated portfolio of brand partners. You will take ownership of revenue and origination targets, managing your sales funnel and loan volume goals independently. 

  • Advise fashion brands on cash-flow strategies, acting as a trusted commercial advisor who deeply understands their seasonal inventory cycles, platform sales dynamics, and operational bottlenecks. 

  • Orchestrate the end-to-end sales cycle, from identifying high-potential leads using Zalando’s platform and the Fintech’s financial data to pitching the product, negotiating terms, and ensuring a seamless onboarding with our Fintech partners. 

  • Work cross-functionally across ZEOS, Partner Program, and our external capital partners to ensure successful financing implementations. You will act as the voice of the merchant to help resolve operational escalations. 

  • Be a thought-leader and founding member of the team. You will gather structured merchant feedback to help shape the future roadmap of ZEOS Capital products.

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • You have 5+ years of relevant B2B sales, account management, or strategic consulting experience. Experience in B2B Fintech, corporate banking, merchant cash advances, or e-commerce platform sales is a massive plus. 

  • You possess strong commercial acumen and are highly comfortable engaging with C-level executives (CEOs, CFOs, Founders) to discuss financial products, P&Ls, and business growth strategies. 

  • You are highly analytical and data-fluent and you can seamlessly translate operational metrics (like inventory turnover and return rates) into compelling financial narratives and ROI for our partners.

  • You have a proven track record of developing long-term relationships, navigating complex enterprise sales cycles, and consistently achieving sales targets. 

  • You are a strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial drive, comfortable navigating the ambiguity of launching a new business unit while collaborating effectively with external partners. 

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English are a must. You are confident in interacting and presenting independently at a senior management level.
