THE ROLE & THE TEAM
At ZEOS Capital, we are building an embedded finance and asset-based lending platform for the fashion and lifestyle industry. By leveraging our deep understanding of platform performance and logistics, we provide our merchants with fast, flexible, and data-driven working capital solutions. Our mission is to remove financial friction, enabling brands and retailers to seamlessly invest in their inventory and scale their businesses on the Zalando platform and beyond.
As a Senior Partner Success & Operations Manager, you are a crucial bridge between our commercial ambitions and our operational reality. This is a unique, hybrid role split evenly between commercial execution and operational building. On one hand, you will act as a commercial enabler and Customer Success counterpart, working closely with the ZEOS Capital sales team to pitch, land, and onboard merchants. On the other hand, you will support ZEOS Capital leadership to develop and operationalize our flagship Asset-Based Lending product, helping to build the internal pipes required to value, secure, and liquidate physical inventory. You will work extensively across Sales, Legal, Tech, Operations, Propositions and ZEOS to help turn complex concepts into a seamless merchant experience.
WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
Commercial Enablement & Partner Success: Partner closely with ZEOS Capital Leadership to pitch, close, and onboard merchants. You will ensure a flawless customer journey, acting as a primary Customer Success contact to help merchants fully leverage their credit facilities.
Support Asset-Based Lending Development: Work alongside ZEOS Capital leadership to help operationalize our secured lending product. You will assist in figuring out the "how" behind the strategy, supporting the team to practically and legally execute loans backed by physical inventory.
Forecasting & Valuation Support: Collaborate with internal Data and Forecasting teams to help develop the logic that turns inventory into collateral. You will assist in defining how we value stock, apply risk haircuts, and set dynamic credit limits based on real-time platform data.
Securing the Asset: Assist leadership in cross-functional workflows with Legal, Operations and Tech to help design and implement the technical and contractual mechanisms needed to place a pledge (lien) on merchant inventory sitting in Zalando warehouses.
Liquidation Mechanics: Help architect the end-to-end operational playbook for distress scenarios. You will support the building of internal workflows to ensure that, in the event of a default, pledged inventory can be legally locked, seized, and successfully routed through our liquidation channels.
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
You have 5+ years of relevant experience in a hybrid operational, commercial, or product-operations role. Experience in supply chain, e-commerce operations, revenue operations, or fintech is highly desirable.
You possess a strong builder mentality and thrive as a strategic enabler. You are highly comfortable
You navigate ambiguity and help the leadership team transform high-level strategic concepts into robust systems and scalable operational workflows.
You are an exceptional cross-functional collaborator who can seamlessly switch contexts: negotiating commercial terms with a CFO, interrogating risk models with Data Analysts, navigating regulatory constraints with Legal or managing system integrations with Tech.
You are analytically sharp and detail-oriented. You grasp the nuances of unit economics and the complexities of inventory-based financing.
You have a customer-first mindset. You understand that the best operational and legal setups are invisible to the merchant, and you strive to help build a frictionless B2B experience.
Excellent communication skills in English are a must. You are confident in aligning diverse stakeholder groups and driving complex projects forward without formal authority.
