THE ROLE & THE TEAM

As a Styling Direction and Visual Merchandising Manager on our Global Styling Direction team, you'll oversee the styling process for our local and global marketing initiatives. This is a highly collaborative role where you'll work with multiple stakeholders to develop compelling, market-focused fashion narratives that best represent our products.

This position requires a unique blend of creative vision and strong organisational skills. We're looking for a fashion-forward professional with a keen eye for detail, who is also an excellent communicator and project manager.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • Drive the styling process: Guide external stylists and agencies from concept development to production, ensuring alignment with Zalando's aesthetic and campaign goals.

  • Manage stakeholder relationships: Use your knowledge of fashion trends and commercial needs to ensure our local and global market activations are relevant and on-brand.

  • Support creative direction: Contribute to seasonal trend analysis by researching catwalks, editorials, campaigns, and brand moments to inform our creative strategy.

  • Collaborate on product curation: Oversee the styling and product curation for campaigns and support the global Styling Direction and Visual Merchandising team in creating documents and presentations for stakeholders.

  • Ensure operational excellence: Handle key administrative tasks, such as creating shooting overviews, managing product stock data, and curating assortment selections.

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • Fashion expertise: A deep love for fashion with a keen eye for styling and a strong understanding of current trends, brands, and editorial content.

  • Stakeholder management: Proven ability to manage projects independently with multiple stakeholders.

  • Experience: At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience in the fashion industry.

  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create professional documentation.

  • Adaptability: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and adapt to changing business needs.

  • Location & Travel: Willingness to work in a hybrid model with mandatory in-office days and openness to travel.

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Fashion, Arts, or a related field is a plus but not required.
