THE ROLE & THE TEAM

The Onsite Creator Content team (OCC) changes influencer and creator marketing as you know it. We aim to unite people through creativity for an open, equitable and sustainable future for all. We do this by building a community of creators from all walks of life who are excited to create content that tells stories of diversity, inclusivity, self-expression and sustainability through fashion. We create and share style inspiration that's relevant and interesting to all our diverse Zalando customer base across all our Zalando platforms to keep them coming back again and again.

As Manager Strategy & Projects (all genders) in the Onsite Creator Content team (OCC), it’ll be your job to co-ordinate and drive projects and improvements across everything we work on including Get the Look outfits, ePDP and the feed. You will have responsibility for a portfolio of projects and topics which you will own end to end but work with the relevant stakeholders to bring to life as well as working directly with various creators and our team of creator managers. You’ll help tell stories with data on how the projects are performing as well as where things can be improved across Zalando platforms. You’ll also find new opportunities to work with creators to create content for Zalando, through creators reviews and developing the streetwear strategy. You’ll be social first, a native on Instagram and TikTok and soundly aware of the type of content that connects on these channels. You’ll help build conversations about style, sustainability in fashion and inspire local agencies and markets to build an engaged network of diverse people of influence to create high impact content our audience loves.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)...

  • Explore, elevate, evolve. It’ll be your opportunity to be part of a team that shapes the future of influencer and creator marketing, bringing fresh ideas on how we can engage with our creators. You will critically evaluate and challenge our operational processes, identify improvement areas and opportunities for increased efficiency/effectiveness.

  • Project management. From making a plan to making it happen, you’ll manage your own varied, multifunctional projects that deliver, evolve and improve our different programs on a continuous basis. You will also be responsible for managing all relevant stakeholders from content analytics and content strategy to product and engineering teams.

  • Analyse and adapt. Dealing with stakeholders across the business, you’ll know how to measure and report on success against strategic goals, quickly adapting when necessary to optimise performance. You’re confident in creating new dashboards on Looker Studio and are able to pull insights from multiple data sources that can help steer the program.

  • Budget Management. You’ll be responsible for the budget for your own projects with the autonomy to drive them in the most appropriate manner. You’ll be able to put together robust cost estimates in yearly planning and accurately track the spend.

  • You’ll think big. Creativity and strategic thinking come naturally to you, and it’s reflected in your daring ideas. You’ll use your entrepreneurial mindset to find commercial opportunities for creators to drive GMV for Zalando. You'll also take the lead in expanding our streetwear strategy, including working closely with the propositions team to create opportunities that engage our streetwear creator community.

  • Communication. You’re confident in building relationships across the organisation and ensuring that they are kept informed of the latest developments of the overall program as well as being the first point of contact for a market cluster or proposition. You can build engaging presentations as well as maintain our ongoing communication documentation.

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF...

  • You have 3-5 years of relevant work within fashion or lifestyle.

  • You’re comfortable with numbers, you use data to identify root causes, understand problems and build strong arguments to convince others.

  • Ability to solve complex situations, identify and remove bottlenecks, connect with relevant stakeholders, deal with ambiguity and handle multiple projects at the same time.

  • You’re daring and strategic - you can see the bigger picture right from the start and challenge us to be our best. If you have thoughts on how to switch something up, we want to hear them.

  • You’re committed to diversity and inclusivity – you’ll share our message of inclusivity and liberation through fashion. You will be an ambassador for this in your output and your internal conduct.

  • You have great coordination skills, attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
