THE ROLE & THE TEAM

In this Berlin-based role, as a Senior Marketing Manager, you will focus on further developing Zalando as the #1 destination for fashion and lifestyle in Poland & Baltics. You will manage all local marketing activities with the aim of further strengthening the Zalando brand in those markets as well as driving relevant traffic to our local sites and app, and contributing to the business growth. 

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • Identify consumer and competitive insights to inform marketing strategy and guide key business decisions.

  • Develop, plan, and execute an annual marketing plan, including budget management and media strategy, for four markets.

  • Monitor market and competitive landscapes to identify commercial marketing levers and growth opportunities.

  • Roll-out and amplify Zalando global campaigns, define, manage and execute hyper-local activation tailored to the Polish & Baltic markets, driving their relevance towards local customers and fit for commercial priorities

  • Activate and amplify Zalando propositions, ensuring a market-relevant product mix across various touchpoints.

  • Manage local media, creative, and influencer agencies to support growth.

  • Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistent communication and tone of voice across all channels.

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF…

  • You are willing to relocate to Berlin. This is a Berlin based job, under a hybrid work scheme 

  • You are a Polish native speaker, and also fluent in English

  • You have 5-7 years of professional experience as a seasoned marketing generalist, preferably e-commerce/fashion/FMCG

  • Strong understanding of various Offline and Online Marketing Channels and Media, including good knowledge of Social Media platforms and the influencer landscape, and a basic understanding of performance channels.

  • Proven experience in marketing budget management and end-to-end full-funnel campaign execution, with a strong track record of campaign management, working effectively with creative teams and agencies.

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret consumer insights and trends, translating them into synthetic and actionable market marketing strategies and growth initiatives.

  • Deep knowledge of the Polish market, including the ability to understand local consumers, provide insights into the competitive landscape, and identify market trends.

  • A team player, well-organized, and comfortable steering multiple key projects with various stakeholders, acting as both an owner and facilitator.
