It’s an exciting time to be here and join a product-first company. That’s why we’re looking for a top-notch product analyst to drive product strategy through quantitative acumen, specifically in the areas of pre-order payment checkout and post-order deferred checkout for our BNPL product, including dunning for late payments. Do you think like a product manager but solve problems like an analyst? Do you ask “why?” before diving into the data? Are you fundamentally curious about the customer experience of paying for things online and how to improve it? Let’s talk.
WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
- You'll guide analytical or research projects, initiatives, providing senior guidance
- You are a trusted go-to person for your area of expertise (team/product expertise, e.g. customer analytics, market research)
- You'll support developing new analytical or research-related skills and capabilities
- You'll keep an eye on industry and academic trends to improve analysis or research quality in your team and support the professional development of technical skills
- You will represent Zalando Payments in performance reviews with external service providers
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF...
- You apply logical and easy-to-understand frameworks to deal with complex issues
- You effectively communicate in all forms, translating analytical matters that are understood by others
- You are fluent in the vast majority of analytical techniques, research methods and/or tools (Python, SQL, Tableau) relevant in your domain and know when to apply them appropriately to your use cases
- You solve complex problem statements via concise decision proposals and recommendations to drive effectiveness/efficiency
