THE ROLE & THE TEAM

Join our high-performing and target-driven Modern Buying Team as a Buyer, where your passion for innovative Footwear & Apparel directly shapes our consumer connections and drives significant results. Leveraging your industry expertise, you'll take ownership of strategically buying and developing your own brand portfolio, with full accountability for unit KPIs. You'll be instrumental in creating and implementing assortment and business model strategies, actively contributing to the unit's overall strategy and ambitious growth targets. Your strong negotiation skills, combined with sharp analytical abilities, trend awareness, and commercial acumen, will ensure we consistently serve our customers in the most impactful ways.

  • Own and strategize your assortment: Take full accountability for planning, buying, and developing your product area, directly impacting unit KPIs.

  • Develop and implement winning strategies: Create and execute both assortment and business model strategies, contributing to broader unit and cluster goals with a customer-first approach.

  • Drive growth through negotiation: Utilize strong negotiation skills and make commercially-minded, KPI-driven decisions to maximize success.

  • Collaborate and guide for impact: Proactively work with internal and external stakeholders, mentoring junior team members to achieve shared objectives.

  • Build strong, trusting partnerships: Foster mutually beneficial relationships with clear and respectful communication.

  • Tackle complexity and innovate: Independently manage operational, strategic, and financial issues, using data to solve problems, identify opportunities, and support leadership.

  • Contribute to collective success: Align with company strategy and actively contribute to Platform, Category, and Cluster objectives, with opportunities to coach and mentor.

  • Utilize market expertise: Translate business targets into effective unit and brand strategies, driving assortment based on deep customer understanding and market knowledge.

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF ...

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of proven buying experience within a Head Office environment or a fast-paced e-commerce retailer.

  • Exceptional analytical skills, proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and formulas), and a passion for blending data-driven insights with fashion and trends.

  • A strong strategic mindset with a demonstrated ability to translate plans into timely and complete execution.

  • A proven track record of successfully acquiring new business and driving impactful initiatives.

  • Innate negotiation skills and excellent communication abilities for building strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

  • A proactive and agile approach, thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent organizational skills.

  • A collaborative team spirit balanced with strong independent work ethics.
