THE ROLE & THE TEAM
As a Senior Strategic Partner Manager in Zalando's Beauty division, you will enable the strategic and commercial growth of our most important brand partnerships. Leveraging your strategic mindset, commercial acumen and deep industry knowledge, you will support in defining and implementing long-term strategies for these partnerships. This will require you to connect the dots across the Zalando Group and champion strong cross-functional collaboration.
The role can and will also allow you to additionally take on mid-sized projects if and when pivotal to a partnership’s success. You will work end-to-end in identifying such opportunities, translating them into project plans and managing execution through to completion, working with diverse stakeholders across various seniority levels throughout.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
Strategic Partner Management: Develop and drive the execution of long-term strategies (3-5 concurrent accounts) for our most significant beauty partnerships.
This involves aligning partnership goals with overall Beauty and Zalando strategies, managing deliverables, and proactively addressing emerging challenges.
Stakeholder Management & Communication: Foster transparent communication and alignment across internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth partnership progress.
This includes leading large meetings effectively and collaborating empathetically.
Decision Enablement: Prepare and present clear, concise strategic documents for senior management.
When doing so, you are logical and pragmatic in problem-solving, evaluating opportunities against costs to provide well-reasoned recommendations.
Project Management: Independently oversee medium-sized projects crucial to partnership success from initiation to completion (e.g. digital experience enhancements).
Expert Contributions: Represent Beauty in large-scale global Zalando initiatives, providing industry knowledge and advocating for the perspectives of Zalando Beauty customers and partners (e.g. Zalando Beauty brand positioning).
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
You have 6+ years of experience in consumer-oriented commercial, account management, or strategy roles within the Beauty e-commerce sector. Partner-facing experience is a strong advantage.
You have a proven track record of independently managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple senior stakeholders in a highly structured manner.
You are a team player with razer-sharp English communication skills.
You have strong business and commercial acumen with a solid understanding of the P&L lines in an e-commerce setting and the strategic needs of Beauty brands in today’s macroenvironment.
You can fly high on strategy but at the same time appreciate getting your hands dirty with the details to make things happen.
You are proactive with a strong sense of ownership, persistent in overcoming obstacles, and focused on achieving overarching objectives even when dealing with intricate details.
You are proficient in Google Suites
