You will be part of the People & Organization (P&O) leadership team and report to the Director P&O Business Engagement. As the Head of P&O Logistics, you are responsible for the core of P&O in our German Logistic Warehouses. The Head of P&O works in close partnership with the business leader of the German Warehouses and the senior leadership team to develop and execute the HR strategy and roadmap supporting the growth and health of the growing organization.The HR leader will build an organization and culture that facilitates long-term business scale through the acquisition, development and retention of talent and the use/adoption of technologies in the delivery of our service.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • Create a unified organisation that uniformly supports and develops employee engagement, leadership development and high organisation development

  • Lead a direct team comprised of HR Managers in four up to five different locations in Germany

  • Manage the strategic partnership with works councils in Germany in collaboration with our Strategic Employer Relations team

  • Partner with the Recruiting Leadership Team to build systemic and scalable recruiting
    programs that will enable the business teams to achieve their recruiting goals

  • Function as a consultant and counselor to business leaders and their respective organisations; must become a trusted and insightful HR partner to sr. leaders; engage in strategic planning meetings, annual off sites, and leadership staff meetings to translate business needs into HR plans

  • Drive operational excellence and efficiency in HR processes to enable the organisation to hire and develop talent at scale and consistently to our principles

  • Develop and build an awesome team of HR business partners

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • You bring 7-10 years of HR leadership experience including  heading other leaders and developing HR professionals.

  • You have a strong command of German labor law and proven experience collaborating with works councils and unions

  • You’re skilled in organisational design, driving team effectiveness and possess experiences in managing performance

  • You’re passionate about logistics and supply chain environments, and bring experience from industries like logistics, production, or automotive — with a strong understanding of the needs of a non-overhead workforce.

  • You are fluent in both German and English at a business level.

  • Your primary work location will be Berlin, with regular travel (approximately 15–20%) to our warehouse sites across Germany.
