THE ROLE & THE TEAM
The Supply Operations Team is responsible to execute all operational and administrative tasks to realise a purchase and prepare the article data for the in-house content production. The team is specialised to deliver the best possible back-office service by maintaining an efficient process stream and high quality standard results.
You will get the opportunity to work with some of the biggest brands in the fashion industry and be in daily contact with the suppliers, the Buying Team and other cross functional departments at Zalando Lounge.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
You support your buying unit in all operational and administrative matters in order to successfully complete the purchases and create the basis for planned sales
You are responsible for the data management: data collection, quality checks, data preparation and transmission and ensure a high-quality execution of all processes in your daily business
You are part of process optimizations and identify potential problems, develop solutions, acting as an expert in your team and being the first point of contact for your colleagues and stakeholders
In close alignment with your lead, you own individual areas of responsibility and thus contribute to the overall success of the team
You’d be able to demonstrate your strong communication and stakeholder management skills in collaborating with internal colleagues as well as suppliers
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
Have successfully completed a commercial business education (or comparable work experience in a commercial function)
Have extensive experience working with MS Office, especially Excel and a passion for working with digital files
Have good English skills written and spoken. Knowledge of German, French, Spanish or Italian language is a plus
Show confidence in stressful situations and are able to focus on data accuracy
You are able to independently prioritize your tasks according to a flexible business environment
Have organisational talent with a proactive approach
Have creative problem solving skills and a continuous process optimization approach
