THE ROLE & THE TEAM

The B2C Commerce organisation drives the customer experience on Zalando and Lounge by Zalando, with a clear ambition to provide our customers with high quality and relevant assortment, as well as enable them to discover fashion and lifestyle products in an entertaining and inspirational way. The organisation includes Customer Propositions, Business Functions and Markets and is led by a SVP,  whom this role would be responsible to support with their organisational and operational activities.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • You support our SVP B2C Commerce, with all administration and organisational tasks such as calendar management, organising highly complex meetings and events, travel and expense management and costs tracking. 

  • You will anticipate the needs and schedules of executive leaders, influence outcomes, and ensure their attention is focused on relevant strategic and leadership priorities.

  • You exercise a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information (e.g. emails, papers, presentations or meetings) and show professionalism in dealing with senior executives internal and external to Zalando.

  • You proactively explore and gain an understanding of business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs and drive improvements to support the leadership team. 

  • You collaborate effectively and closely with the Executive Project Manager, your peers and extended leadership team on a variety of projects or topics.

  • You have strong time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • Completed your education/apprenticeship and gained 5+ years of experience as an executive assistant or in a similar administrative position. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, as well as confidence in communicating with multiple stakeholders and senior management. German is a plus but not a mandatory requirement.

  • Experience in organising Events (team events, leadership workshops or offsites or larger events impacting the whole organisation)

  • You have a proactive and positive attitude as well as thrive when working autonomously. You have a flexible mindset, a willingness to shape ideas, and an eye for details. You’re able to take initiative, understand deadlines, prioritise and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. 

  • Working knowledge in Google Calendar, Google Mail & Google Business Apps such as Docs, Sheets, Slides and Hangouts.
