THE ROLE & THE TEAM

Our People Analytics & Research team is part of our Business Unit People & Organization (P&O) and we are looking for a People Insights Analyst. You will work on reporting and insights generations supporting our People Experience team, including Talent Acquisition. By partnering with a variety of stakeholders across the organization, you will be crucial in ensuring a high level of reporting, insights sharing and executing project strategies to better address people and talent-related business needs and have a major impact on Zalando’s vision of becoming the starting point for fashion. You’ll be a crucial contributor to our mission to support evidence-based decision-making on people topics, mainly through smooth, innovative HR people processes.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • You will act as the point of contact for data analysis, reporting and cross-functional projects in the People area, collaborating with our stakeholders to define strategies and address potential improvements.

  • You will collaborate with tech stakeholders on data-related topics and continuously strive for improvement of our analytical and technical capabilities (i.e automation, tooling enhancements, reporting).

  • You will maintain existing and develop new reporting dashboards in our Workday environment to assist stakeholders and their support functions in optimizing performance and evaluating resources’ investment.

  • You will collaborate with stakeholders inside and outside P&O to maintain a regular exchange and ensure that people, organisational, and talent-related decisions are being reflected in future reporting plans.

  • You will develop business insights and share them with internal stakeholders on a regular basis in a compelling and comprehensible manner.

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • You have relevant work experience within analytical areas such as data analysis, controlling or reporting, not necessarily limited to HR.

  • You bring in practical experience around defining KPIs and setting up reports and dashboards, ideally in Workday or in the HR environment.

  • You show advanced project and stakeholder management skills combined with strong problem-solving competence, seeking out solutions in an efficient and goal-oriented way.

  • You have previous experience managing large datasets using Python, R or SQL. Also, you bring experience in data visualization methodologies as well as presentation skills.

  • You are proactive, focused on your stakeholder needs, aiming to improve the current reporting landscape, and an advocate for data accuracy. 

  • You gained a degree in STEM field or have obtained advanced knowledge in quantitative subjects (ideally Statistics or Economics).
