THE ROLE & THE TEAM
As Zalando evolves from Europe’s leading e-commerce platform into the fashion industry’s central ecosystem, this is an exciting moment to join our journey. With a presence in 23 markets, we’re connecting customers, brands, and partners across the continent. Alongside our B2C operations, we’re scaling our B2B business through ZEOS, Zalando’s fulfillment-as-a-service offering. Our vision of “Europe Unlocked” empowers brands and retailers to simplify e-commerce and expand across borders—leveraging Zalando’s trusted logistics network and infrastructure.
As a Product Analyst at ZEOS, reporting directly to the Head of Data. You will work at the intersection of data, product, and logistics. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, program managers, and other analysts to provide the insights that shape our product development and operational strategy.
You’ll be the go-to expert for product & data insights—diving deep into merchant behavior, operational flows, product usage, stock movements to help teams make smarter, data-informed decisions. Your technical skills in SQL or Python will be essential for processing raw data at scale, while your curiosity and business acumen will help translate numbers into narratives that drive impact.
You’ll also contribute to building a stronger foundation for product analytics—helping enhance our data pipelines, structure our analytics layer, and lay the groundwork for experimentation, simulation, and advanced analytics in the future. This position offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your analytical skills in a collaborative and international environment, driving innovation and impact within the rapidly evolving landscape of B2B logistics and e-commerce.
WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
As a Product Analyst, you will join our dynamic and expanding ZEOS Data team and become a trusted thought partner to our Product, Engineering, and Business teams—driving impact through insights, domain understanding, and a strong sense of ownership. In this role, you’ll:
Be the Analytical Partner for Product & Business: You will be an analytical owner of one of the logistics domains. Work closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to uncover opportunities, define success metrics, and guide decision-making throughout the product lifecycle—from ideation to launch and iteration—and business processes.
Turn large & complex dataset to insights: Work with large, complex datasets in our data lake using SQL and Python. You'll process, clean, and analyze raw data to support deep-dives, build meaningful metrics, and uncover actionable insights that drive product improvement and operational efficiency.
Drive Data-Driven Product & Business Decisions: Translating business challenges into quantitative stories, analytical questions, and providing clear, data-backed recommendations that influence strategy, prioritization, and execution.
Own Domain Knowledge & Deep Dives: Develop a strong understanding of our B2B logistics workflows and operational processes. You’ll become a domain expert, proactively spotting patterns, identifying inefficiencies, and helping the team better understand user behavior and product performance.
Enable Simulation & Experimentation: Support hypothesis-driven thinking by building simulations, scenario analyses, and pre-post comparisons. While A/B testing isn’t widely adopted yet, you'll help us lay the groundwork for future experimentation practices.
Build Trust in Data & Metrics & Dashboards: Define and document key product metrics, ensure consistent tracking on dashboards if necessary, and work with the data team to make sure critical data is accurate, accessible, and actionable.
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
You have experience as a Product Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a similar analytical role—ideally within a product-led or tech-driven organization.
You're fluent in SQL and Python, and confident working with large datasets or raw event-level data independently.
You have a solid grasp of, or a strong interest in learning, data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker Studio, or ideally MicroStrategy.
You're a storyteller with data, with strong, structured communication skills—able to connect the dots, surface insights, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
You enjoy working cross-functionally and thrive in collaborative environments where you share ownership of outcomes.
You have experience—or a strong curiosity—in logistics or operational domains, and are excited to dig into the mechanics of B2B logistics flows.
You’re proactive and curious, unafraid to challenge assumptions and always asking why things work the way they do.
You care deeply about impact—not just analyzing data, but ensuring your work informs decisions, aligns teams, and delivers real-world value.
You bring strong ownership, initiative, and results orientation, and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
