ABOUT THE ROLE

Within Zalando Partner Platform, Platform Offer Experience has the objective of elevating our customers’ experience up until the moment of purchase. We work to ensure Zalando’s partners offer desirable and fresh assortment that is fairly priced, easy to discover and presented in an appealing way. For that, we translate local customer needs and category-specific requirements into concrete partner-facing policies, which reflect in the platform rules, and oversee their implementation and enforcement through systems and processes.

As an Intern in the Platform Offer Experience team, you will support the development and enforcement of our Fair Pricing Framework from end-to-end. 

You will get a unique opportunity to become part of a marketplace governance team and support our efforts to help our customers experience fair prices on Zalando by working with brands and multi-brand retailers from across Europe that sell on our platform.

As well, you will get exposure and participation in the Digital Services Act reporting process which is a rare opportunity to build your knowledge around this regulation and its impact on creating a safer digital space for all users of digital services.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE ARE NEEDED

  • Responsible for data collection, monitoring tracking reports in the Fair Pricing area and evaluation to keep millions of Zalando customers safe

  • Validating and documenting DSA (Digital Services Act) cases through Zalando systems; generating overview reports, participating in new trainings and developing new processes in this area to enhance expertise

  • Coordination with an external vendor team - managing communication, steering workflows, and ensuring alignment between internal processes and vendor deliverables

  • Being an active part of the team while having continuous support from a mentor

  • Participating in regular meetings regarding enforcement tracking 

  • Collaborate closely with all experts on the team and get experience by working with talented partner-facing and operational teams to solve challenging partner and pricing cases

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • You hold a University degree in Business/ Administrative studies and related disciplines.

  • Great analytical skills with an emphasis on attention to detail, experience using data analysis tools, solution-oriented and perfectionist mentality

  • Proficiency in Google Suite / Microsoft Office Suite, especially Sheets / Excel for data analysis

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Reliable, open-minded and highly collaborative persona, supporting colleagues with various tasks

  • Always organising your workload efficiently, ensuring tasks are ready on time, accurate and prioritised accordingly

  • Highest level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive/confidential information appropriately

  • Available for a 6 months limited contract, 40 hours/week

  • Available for a hybrid working model, at least two days per week at our offices in Berlin
