THE ROLE & THE TEAM
The Brand Design team creates brand experiences for the Zalando brand that inspire and engage internal and external audiences. We do this by defining a powerful visual, written and spoken language and strong storytelling through concepts, copy and designs. In order to push the Zalando brand forward, we ensure the creative excellence of all communications and visuals.
As Senior Project Manager you will support the continuous development of brand activation concepts and manage their implementation together with internal and external partners. Within the team, you act as a responsible contact person for your projects and take on a strong advisory role towards stakeholders across the company.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
Take over the creative planning and process steering of branding and communication projects
Setting up ways of working and organising cross-functional teams accordingly
Responsibility for project deliverables and productions from the briefing to the final product
Managing a broad range of stakeholders and acting as a consultant towards teams, departments and Zalando entities to achieve their communication goals
Manage external service providers – from freelancers such as print designers, photographers, or copywriters to creative agencies, or publishing houses, incl. vendor management
Plan budget forecast and ensure to keep track of project scope and progress
Expect a variety of branding and communication projects, from ad-hoc tasks to long-term communication campaigns that include a variety of multimedia communication formats, such as cross-channel activation measures (for publications, reports or conferences), event communication (branding for events), print products (magazines, posters), infographics, animations, photo / video productions, and digital assets (banners, microsites)
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
At least 7 years of experience on the corporate and / or agency side in the areas of corporate branding, corporate identity, strategic brand management, corporate communication, account or project management with a brand focus
Strong track record in stakeholder management, communication skills and experience in leading cross-functional teams (leadership experience is an advantage)
Outstanding project management skills and ability to drive others under pressure
Familiar with the management of time-critical projects in a dynamic environment as well as a strong enthusiasm for brand and communication topics
A completed degree in marketing, business administration, media and communication, or a comparable education
Relevant experience in the planning and implementation of complex projects
Experience with the production of print, multimedia, event, and online communication formats
Experience in the fields of website administration, imagery database management, digital asset management tools, and/or print publications are an advantage
You know how to manage creatives and corporate stakeholders at the same time
High quality standards, reliability, independence, and structure, even in stressful situations, as well as a pronounced service mentality and diplomatic skills
English and German skills required
