THE ROLE AND THE TEAM
In your role as Principal Project Manager, you will work hand-in-hand with the VP Partner Tech and their leadership team on driving strategic priorities for the business unit.
WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
Assisting management on selected projects, providing coordination and support to various teams, and helping the VP monitor progress and key deliverables
Driving independently selected strategic projects across Partner Tech and Zalando Group.
Experience with handling executive stakeholders on VP and SVP level.
Supporting the VP in preparing for meetings and appointments, including follow-ups and ensuring that all necessary materials are ready.
Helping drive cross-functional projects that enable leadership teams to operate more efficiently, focusing on delivering key business objectives.
Preparing written materials and presentations, conducting research, and analyzing data to provide valuable insights.
Liaising with internal and external partners, ensuring smooth communication and alignment with the VP’s priorities.
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
Solid project management skills with the ability to organize, prioritize, and balance multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Ability to take initiative, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects with minimal guidance.
Strong communication skills, including writing reports and preparing materials for internal meetings.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with various teams. Experience working with senior leaders is a plus.
Comfortable handling confidential information with professionalism.
Hands-on attitude with a growth mindset; a willingness to jump in and get involved where needed, and comfort working with ambiguity is important; representing Zalando’s leadership principles (OFMs, e.g. “Purpose first, ego second”)
