As a Junior Product Safety Manager, you will be part of a high impact, high performing team and required to work with vigour, agility and open mind while excelling in handling product safety matters and implementing compliance standards applicable to the Private Label product range (Apparel, Footwear & Accessories).

WHY YOU SHOULD BE INTERESTED
Responsible for executing established monitoring and incident management processes to ensure non-compliances identified internally or externally are managed effectively.
Coordinating Product Safety operational daily tasks worldwide (Asia & Europe).
Being one of the main contact persons for external partners, laboratories and suppliers.
Responsible for Invoice management and supporting the budget planning.
Supporting the Manager and the Lead in developing strategies based on supplier and product/ material risk.
Delivering data insights to build smart testing concepts and to monitor the day to day compliance of our PL assortment.
Supporting continuous improvement compliance initiatives for monitoring products offered by Private labels.
Able to make decisions within stakeholders’ level of responsibility in mind, proactively coordinating bigger decisions and projects with Senior Managers/Team Leads
Setting up monitoring/reporting (including KPI tracking) for own area and reports to team lead autonomously.
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
Min 2-3 years of work experience in the retail industry or manufacturing in the following sectors: apparel, footwear, accessories, ideally international experience.
Working knowledge of GPSD, REACh, RoHS, kids safety standards.
Excellent analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills.
Decision-maker personality with pragmatic approach.
Very strong in self-management with a distinct entrepreneurial mindset.
Very strong in Stakeholder Management and Communication.
Ability to cope with a rapidly changing environment, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Self-motivated, self-dependent and proactive.
