THE ROLE & THE TEAM 

As a Sustainability Data Analyst, you'll optimize data for our sustainability efforts, focusing on climate, water, and chemicals. You'll analyze supply chain data, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with EU and China regulations. Your work will drive positive sustainability impact through accurate data and supplier engagement.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • You’ll report to the headquarters Sustainability Ops team lead and closely collaborate with all PL Supply teams in the Sourcing Office China and the HQ

  • You set data flow and optimize data quality to secure results for sustainability related, like climate, water and chemicals 

  • You build analytical tools to support the visualization of both business and sustainability in order to focus and create the biggest impact on sustainability

  • You’ll holistically organise, manage and review sustainability related data points coming from our supply chain partners in all Tier levels

  • You’ll analyse and verify data to ensure sustainability claims align with established standards in close collaboration with our sustainability expert teams

  • You’ll maintain and update standard operating procedure documentation in your area of responsibility

  • You have strong supplier engagement skills to train and support manufacturers in Asia on sustainability compliance and best practices

  • You’ll visit factories and supply chain facilities to verify data accuracy, monitor processes, and provide actionable feedback to suppliers

  • You’ll escalate risks to leadership to ensure compliance with regulations

  • You have expertise in both EU sustainability regulations and China’s environmental compliance frameworks, including China’s carbon trading mechanisms, EPR policies, and chemical discharge regulations

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF 

  • You have a strong understanding of sustainability, environmental regulations, innovations, and compliance standards in the fashion industry, with expertise in both EU and China-specific frameworks

  • You have experience working within supply chains and sourcing offices for international (EU) brands, with a deep understanding of China’s environmental policies

  • You’re familiar with EU sustainability requirements, product claim verification, and certification standards, and can align them with China’s evolving environmental compliance landscape

  • You are skilled in data management and digital sustainability tracking, with the ability to analyze and verify large datasets related to supply chain sustainability, ESG reporting, and carbon footprint calculations

  • You have practical experience with on-site factory assessments and a strong understanding of production processes within the supply chain

  • You’re aware of sustainability and environmental processes within the industry, including sourcing practices for brands
