The creative production team at Zalando Studios is where creative ideas come to life!
We produce Editorials & Statements for Zalando’s own platforms and campaigns for the brands represented on Zalando, in close collaboration with our talented inhouse Ideation teams, Casting team and Post Production teams.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead for our new Video and Post-Production team to spearhead the creation of high-quality fashion editorials and campaigns. This individual will play a pivotal role in establishing and shaping our new content creation team of inhouse videographers and editors.
You bring your in-depth expertise in commercial content creation, your industry insights and your network of skilled partners to the team to find solutions that continue to elevate our content in a fun, relevant and engaging manner.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
Creative Leadership:
Lead the conceptualization and execution of video content for fashion editorials and campaigns, ensuring a cohesive and compelling visual narrative.
Collaborate with creative directors, photographers, stylists, and other stakeholders to develop innovative video concepts.
Videography:
Oversee all on-set video production activities, ensuring seamless execution of shoots.
Operate cameras and other video equipment to capture high-quality footage, with a deep understanding of lighting, framing, and movement.
Provide direction to the team during shoots to achieve desired outcomes.
Post-Production Management:
Supervise the editing process, ensuring all videos meet brand aesthetics and creative standards.
Apply advanced editing techniques, color grading, and sound design to deliver polished final products.
Manage post-production workflows, timelines, and resources to meet deadlines effectively.
Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of videographers, editors, and freelancers to deliver exceptional results.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging the team to push creative boundaries.

Lead day to day capacity planning in collaboration with other team leads.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains consistency across campaigns.
Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and techniques to continuously elevate production quality.
Budget and Resource Management:
Manage budgets for video production and post-production in close collaboration with producer colleagues, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
Keeping up to date on industry and technological developments on equipment, software, and tools necessary for efficient production.
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
Proven experience (5+ years) in videography and video editing, preferably in the fashion or luxury industries.
Expertise in operating professional video cameras, lighting equipment, and sound recording devices.
Familiarity with social media platforms and their video requirements.
Knowledge of emerging technologies and techniques in video production.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and post-production tools (e.g., Frame.io, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve).
Excellent understanding of composition, lighting, and storytelling principles relevant to fashion aesthetics and trends.
Leadership and team management skills, with experience guiding creative teams.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to the fast-paced nature of the fashion industry.
Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
