THE ROLE & THE TEAM

We are currently seeking a Sr. Content Planning and Programming Manager, a vital role within our Content Strategy & Curation team, reporting directly to the Team Lead of Content Programming, Planning, and Distribution. As a  Sr. Content Planning and Programming Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Team Lead’s objectives, aligning with broader business initiatives. 


Your primary responsibility will be to support shaping the content framework, align content planning with market and portfolio needs, in support of enabling customer-centric storytelling. This role requires a strong collaboration with the Content Production team to enable effective budget allocation for campaign productions. You will leverage the content strategies to create realistic plans for the curation team, facilitating the ideation of compelling stories through close collaboration with Content Strategy & Enabling and Content Strategy Creation & Ideation teams.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • Oversee the planning and execution of content strategies, ensuring alignment with market needs and portfolio objectives. 

  • Support the creation and implementation of the content framework

  • Collaborate with Content Production for budget allocation and resource planning for various campaigns.

  • Translate content strategies into actionable plans for the curation team, enabling the curation team’s ideation process for compelling stories.

  • Maintain close coordination with the Team Lead to ensure content planning supports wider business initiatives.

  • Analyse market trends and consumer insights to refine content planning and execution.

  • Collaborate closely with content analytics teams to develop the data reporting landscape.

  • Advocate for innovation and continuous improvement within the content planning process.

  • Facilitate collaboration across the Content Strategy & Curation team to ensure content planning is operating in support of strategy and story-telling requirements.

  • Together with the team lead and other pillar leads establish new ways of working within the Content Strategy & Programming Team to ensure a holistic approach towards content planning and execution.

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • ​Proven experience in content planning, preferably with leadership experience managing a small team.

  • Ability to align content planning with market demands and portfolio strategies.

  • Experience in budget management and resource allocation for content production.

  • A deep understanding of content marketing, storytelling, and customer engagement strategies.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

  • Detail-orientation and developed problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results.

  • A proactive and adaptable approach, able to navigate in a dynamic work environment.
