THE ROLE & THE TEAM
We are looking for a Health Safety Senior Cluster Manager to be based in Berlin and be responsible for establishing and improving the Health & Safety (H&S) standards across our logistics operations in Germany.
As part of our team, you will engage directly with the local H&S management teams and consult, challenge, coordinate and audit all aspects of our H&S Standards in their operations, supporting Zalando's commitment to excellence in Health & Safety practices.

WHY YOU SHOULD BE INTERESTED…
Roll out and support the implementation of Zalando H&S Standards across logistics sites
Liaise, support, and cooperate with the local H&S teams within the cluster, in order to achieve full local compliance to Zalando H&S Standards
Follow up on H&S performance through KPIs, defining and monitoring action plans for improvement. Also collecting and sharing best practices within the cluster.
Audit the H&S activities in the logistics operations within the cluster to identify and evaluate threats and risks. The information is used to challenge, recommend, and coordinate implementation of effective actions.
Visit all locations regularly and perform all activities in accordance with local laws and practices, standards and culture. You are able to travel for approximately 30% of your time.

You are a highly motivated person who is passionate to collaborate in multiple teams with a multitude of stakeholders from diverse backgrounds (logistics management, HSE management, international, etc.)
You are an excellent communicator in both English and German (additionally language skills are of a huge advantage). Your working methods show a high sense of responsibility, quality and customer focus as well as solution orientation.
You are an open-minded individual who embraces diverse perspectives, fostering a collaborative environment to drive innovation and excellence in health and safety practices within our logistics operations.
You are keen on using data to base decisions on and you consider all the facts and perspectives before drawing conclusions. Analytical skills are essential for this position. And to facilitate the analyses we require high proficiency in all G-Suite applications and the ability to learn and use new applications fast.
Hard requirements:
Degree as Health & Safety manager in Germany (Fachkraft Arbeitssicherheit)
Professional experience in the area of H&S, preferably previous Logistics experience for health and safety management
