THE ROLE & THE TEAM

We are looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join our team. Product Analytics is the growing authority for understanding causality at Lounge by Zalando. Through the data & insights you create, you will shape the direction of a product used by millions of Fashion enthusiasts across Europe.

As a Senior Product Analyst in our team, you will have the opportunity to join a diverse cross-functional organisation tackling some of the most complex problems in the Fashion industry. From reshaping our loyalty program at Lounge by Zalando to improving our customer experience in critical areas of our product, you will be a key driver of our product development process. As part of our team, you will transform complex problems into actionable customer behaviour insights, you will use a wide range of data exploration techniques to identify product opportunities, you will work closely with the Product team to define how we measure success in our organisation and you will be an advocate for data driven decisions. Yes, A/B testing is a big part of what we do during product development cycles and you will be the main point of contact in each and every step of the process.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • Be the main analytical counterpart for our product organisation and pair up with product managers, product designers and engineers to deliver cutting edge features/technologies for our customers

  • Identify user behaviour patterns and gather feedback to provide actionable insights for product development and user experience improvement

  • Define frameworks and KPIs to improve how we measure success in our product development process.

  • Develop and maintain experimentation best practices, frameworks, and tools to enable our team to run high-quality experiments at scale.

  • Evangelise data-centricity and best practices across our Lounge, helping to inform decisions and prioritise initiatives based on data insights

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • You have 4+ years of relevant working experience as a Product Analyst or related fields, ideally in a fast paced e-commerce environment.

  • You balance technical acumen with business understanding and excel in collaborating with commercial stakeholders to drive insightful, robust analyses. 

  • You are proficient in SQL and Python for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.

  • You have strong knowledge and practical experience in A/B testing best practices.

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a detail oriented and self-starter mindset. 

  • You are a strong contributor to the Analytics Community, enjoy working cross-functionally, and have great stakeholder management skills to work with different levels of management to support, challenge, and bring solutions.

  • You act as a mentor for junior colleagues and guide them to find the right solutions for the business problems they encounter.

Additionally, it would be preferred if you:

  • Have experience in tracking and analysis of onsite user behaviour (for example using Google Analytics or a similar service)

  • Are familiar with dashboarding tools such as Tableau.

  • Have experience in data orchestration tools like Airflow and DBT
