ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Process Modeling & Knowledge Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimising the process landscape within Zalando's Partner Care unit. Your tasks will include deploying process changes effectively, monitoring and improving the performance of processes, ensuring up-to-date documentation, and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge base for our vendors. You will also engage in building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of new processes.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
Process Management and Optimization:
Operate app. 200 processes in Zalando’s Partner Business ecosystem, ensuring relevant documentation is up-to-date, swiftly deploying changes to multiple vendor teams while ensuring reliable and correct process outcomes
Lead the integration and management of new processes into the Partner Care landscape, ensuring alignment with high internal standards and effective deployment strategies.
Support the implementation and operation of process management frameworks, including but not limited to process inventories, process indices (e.g. health, outcome variance), to monitor outcomes, increase reliability, and identify anomalies.
Knowledge Management:
Maintain and evolve a comprehensive vendor-facing knowledge base, promoting best practices and integration with next-generation technological solutions, such as generative AI.
Translate internal processes and create high-quality, user-friendly Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that provide clear and comprehensive process knowledge for our vendors.
Strategic Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement:
Leverage an extensive internal and external stakeholder network to enhance end-to-end process ownership and support ambitious operational and commercial targets.
Contribute to the development of and execute engagement strategies with vendors to facilitate continuous process auditing and improvement.
Foster strong relationships with stakeholders and collaborate across 25+ departments to align objectives and drive process optimization initiatives.
Communication and Stakeholder Management:
Independently ensure early involvement of all stakeholders, using effective communication to win support and manage long-lasting relationships.
Present well-structured thoughts to stakeholders inside and outside the business unit, using compelling storytelling and logical rationales.
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF…
3+ years experience in process management, knowledge management, or a related field, with a track record of leading successful process optimization and strategic initiatives.
Proficient in applying continuous improvement methodologies like Lean Six Sigma
Proven expertise in utilizing project management tools such as Asana and Jira.
Experience in drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams.
Solid analytical skills and experience in using data to drive decision-making and process
Experience in eCommerce and familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
