ABOUT THE ROLE AND THE TEAM
The Sales and Operations Excellence Manager role sits within the fast growing Zalando Gift Cards team - a cross-functional unit spanning 3 commercial channels; B2B, Retail and DTC. This role is responsible for managing the operational aspects of the gift card business, for all three channels. It also involves overseeing automated customer orders, handling customer service inquiries, and contributing to the seamless execution of gift card operations. We’re seeking someone who is not only detail-oriented but also enthusiastic about learning and growing into the sales side of the business.
Gift Cards are the perfect gift for friends, family or for any corporate incentive like loyalty programs and employee rewards. We are a cross-functional unit, integrated in Zalando’s Digital Experience department, which develops global gift card marketing and sales strategy across Europe.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
Be the go-to person for partners, addressing order and invoicing requests efficiently
Collaborate across teams by managing interfaces between commercial, SAP, Salesforce, and engineering functions.
Monitor and oversee invoicing, ensuring alignment with the accounting team and relevant stakeholders.
Enhance and optimize processes, driving efficiency and scalability.
Ensure smooth gift card operations, including maintaining adequate stock levels, managing relationships with printers/integrators and handling code revocations.
Coordinate with stakeholders through the dedicated gift card inbox.
