THE OPPORTUNITY

At Tradebyte you work hand in hand with the biggest players in e-commerce – from hip fashion brands to big online shops. We offer you an open work structure and an incomparable team spirit. We believe that work and passion are compatible and for that we offer the appropriate surroundings. With continuous growth, we are looking for new colleagues who share our passion for work. Love what you do – do what you love. Become part of Tradebyte, an independent company within the Zalando Group!

Tradebyte's Professional Services portfolio provides powerful add-on services to Tradebyte’s SaaS customers, therefore an opportunity for existing clients to outsource part of its ecommerce operations from article onboarding (live products on marketplaces) to performance marketing (advertising on marketplaces) and trading (new service from 2025). With these services, our partners can thrive in the ecommerce landscape, enabling them to grow their sales and profitability.

This newly created role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate both externally with international Fashion, Sports, and Lifestyle giants, as well as emerging local heroes brands, and internally mainly with the Services Leads, Customer Success Managers and the Marketing team. We’re looking for a sales expert who possesses a rare blend of sales acumen, deep marketplace business expertise and who loves to win new deals - someone ready to shape the future of ecommerce with us!

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND YOU LOVE DOING)

  • Drive Professional Services Commercialization: Lead Services upsell to Tradebyte’s customers by developing go-to-market strategies, toolkits, playbooks, case studies, presentations and training the Customer Success Management (CSM);

  • Win Deals: Achieve sales targets while fostering relationships with Tradebyte’s customers. Ensure sales strategies evolve based on customer feedback and changing needs, delivering a personalised, customer-centric approach

  • Manage Sales Lead Process: Oversee the end-to-end sales lead management, ensuring efficient tracking, follow-ups, and progress in collaboration with the CSMs to maintain momentum in the sales pipeline;

  • Sales Metrics & Reporting: Deliver regular updates on key sales metrics, providing insights into performance;

  • Identify & Resolve Sales Bottlenecks: Pinpoint service or process-related issues that slow down sales. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to find effective, practical solutions to overcome these challenges;

  • Collaborate with Marketing for Lead Generation: Partner with the Marketing team to drive lead generation efforts through success stories, email campaigns, LinkedIn posts and webinars, and other content initiatives to expand Professional Services.

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF YOU HAVE

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Sales in the software and/or fashion ecommerce marketplace ecosystems;

  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, related field, or equivalent experience;

  • Great oral and written communication in English and German;

  • Proficiency in discovery calls, managing the sales cycle, strategic sales planning, articulating value propositions/ROI, and strong negotiation and deal-closing skills;

  • Good project management skills; has a structure mindset;

  • Demonstrable history of meeting or exceeding sales targets, indicating strong sales skills and business growth capability;

  • Skilled collaborating effectively across different functions within the organisation

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US

  • Home office (remote) working options in Germany and UK

  • An agile, fast-growing and international company, with an open-minded working environment;

  • A true hybrid working model: flexibility to work remotely, but with in-person connections & events at the office a few days per month (and depending on where you live, we’ll cover your travel costs to the office in accordance with the policies in place);

  • Competitive salary package, employee share shop, 40% Zalando shopping discount (30% Zalando Lounge);

  • Various learning and development opportunities to enhance your professional development;

  • 27 vacation days per year that increase up to 30 days, volunteering time off and several sabbatical options after 2 years

  • We’ll help you commute to the office with zero emissions through a rented company bike or by charging you electric car at our e-charging station;

  • Access to additional German or English classes to improve your language skills;

  • Visa support for our foreign employees.
