THE ROLE & THE TEAM 

Partner Services is seeking a Senior Program Manager to drive key projects and programs to bring value to the partners and customers of Zalando across multiple customer propositions (Wholesale, Partner Program, and Connected Retail). In your role, you will be responsible for delivering complex programs and projects together with the tech teams and the stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and driving towards successful value delivery.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • Lead and manage data-driven projects and initiatives: Oversee the development and implementation of data-centric products and solutions, ensuring they align with strategic objectives and deliver measurable business value. Active communication with stakeholders is key.

  • Drive scope and milestones: Work closely with stakeholders, product managers, data and software engineers, analysts, and applied scientists to define project requirements, scope, and timelines, ensuring the successful delivery of data-related projects.

  • Manage risks and dependencies: Identify and mitigate potential risks, including data quality issues, privacy concerns, and security threats. Manage dependencies between data projects and other initiatives to ensure efficient execution.

  • Leverage data insights to drive project success: Utilize data analytics to monitor project progress, and identify areas for improvement.

  • Support the PMO in organizational responsibilities: Facilitating business reviews, project initiations, and improving ways of working and processes.

  • You have a bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.

  • You have proven experience as a (Senior) Program Manager, overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, especially in the field of data-related products and projects.

  • You have a strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.

  • You have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • You have demonstrated the ability to drive results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • PMP or PgMP certification is highly desirable.
