In this role, you collaborate closely with Finance and diverse team of technical specialists, strategists and other stakeholders all over Zalando. You will cultivate trusted, strategic partnerships with function heads to drive the transformation of Finance Operations into a forward-thinking and comprehensive business service organization.
You will empower and mentor your colleagues in Finance to redesign and optimize ways of working, ensuring that business needs are met and business goals are delivered.
You will actively shape and steer cross-functional IT systems-related initiatives, applying agile best practices and maintaining transparent communication with all stakeholders.
You will serve as a strategic partner within finance, working closely with technology and business departments to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
You will drive End-to-End process excellence, democratizing knowledge and fostering a deep understanding of processes to better serve our customers.

You excel in operational excellence, with a strong problem-solving and analytical mindset, backed by a proven track record of managing complex transformations.
You have a talent for managing, negotiating, and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels, balancing big-picture thinking with meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality deliverables.
You are passionate about delivering high-quality process improvements while motivating your team members and keeping their enthusiasm high
You possess strong communication skills and have a solid foundation in S4Hana systems and Google Suite. Additional qualifications in project management (Prince2, PMI, Agile) or Lean Six Sigma are a plus.
You consistently apply a human-centric and systemic approach to your work, ensuring that both people and processes thrive.
