Partner Tech is one of the core departments in Zalando. Our goal is to empower and excite our Partners with simple, scalable, frictionless, and intuitive technology solutions making Zalando the preferred e-commerce channel for brands and retailers.
At Tech Operations, we act as a bridge between Partner Tech and various functions within Partner Services and Propositions to enhance the platform experience for both internal stakeholders and external partners by providing advanced technical support, generating valuable insights, offering tech consulting services, and optimising operational processes within Partner Tech.
Within the Tech Operations team, we onboard partners onto P2P processes and provide support to maintain active, error-free dataflows. We drive and consult on the development of internal integration processes based on commercial needs and lead high-impact integration projects via EDI and API. Our team collaborates with key stakeholders on digital integration strategies and supports Product Management with data-driven product and process improvements.
As a Senior Manager Integration Tech Operations, you will create remarkable value by defining and delivering solutions to high-complexity problems in collaboration with a wide network of stakeholders, including tech (eg. Engineering and Product), commercial and operations.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
You will be responsible for onboarding of partners on existing Standard P2P EDI processes and providing support for integrated partners as well as business stakeholders in order to maintain active and error-free dataflows
With your strong technical affinity and a solid business understanding, you will derive opportunities, design and lead overarching, high-complexity cross-functional projects with a significant business impact
You will design and lead custom integration solutions for high-value business cases where the standardised approach cannot be applied
You support Product Management with data-driven identification of product and process improvements, as well as phrasing these needs toward Partner Tech Product & Engineering
You collaborate with key stakeholders within and outside of Partner Services on digital integration strategy
You consult and foster long-term relationships with our key partners based on mutual success, ensuring value driven solutions
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
You are a self-starter who excels at navigating ambiguity, thinks strategically, and is proactive in finding solutions
You have a track record of driving results in a fast-paced, collaborative and cross-functional environment
You can influence strategic decisions by managing and successfully negotiating with heterogeneous groups of senior stakeholders up to a VP level
You have a broad technical knowledge and a deep understanding of software development, release management, e-commerce platforms and API / EDI integrations
You possess a strong knowledge of EDI Standard EDIFACT (message types and content of P2P process: ORDERS, ORDRSP, PRICAT, DESADV, INVOIC, SLSRPT, INVRPT).
You have excellent thought leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as knowledge of SQL/ data analysis, project management methodologies and/ or continuous process improvements
Advanced communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with high-level stakeholders and partners."
