ABOUT THE ROLE AND THE TEAM

As a Senior Media Data Strategist, you will leverage your analytical expertise to guide and support the Brand Media team's strategic decisions, optimising key media levers to maximise effectiveness and efficiency. This role is crucial in transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive our success.

As a key player in our brand media team, you will plan and implement a successful media measurement, optimisation, and testing framework, applying specialised knowledge in tracking, data analysis, reporting, and automation for offline and online channels. You will work in close collaboration with the Marketing Analytics team, supporting initiatives to enhance our measurement ecosystem, connecting media steering KPIs to brand and commercial success.

Your role will significantly influence the direction of our media efforts, ensuring that our investments are effective and contribute to the organisation's broader success.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive testing roadmap, ensuring alignment with the overall marketing roadmap.

  • Design and execute sophisticated A/B tests, brand and conversion lift studies, and other experimental methodologies on platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and Google. Liaise with external media partners for planning, analysis, and execution of tests.

  • Present test results and resulting learnings to the team and broader stakeholders through comprehensive analysis, reporting, and data visualisation. Leverage learnings to update testing roadmap accordingly.

  • Collaborate closely with our Marketing Analytics team, contributing to larger scale projects by providing essential data on brand media performance, contributing to their initiatives and offering valuable insights to support evaluation of the overall commercial success of the company.

  • Conduct and deliver performance reports with actionable media learnings and recommendations, based on detailed data analysis (leveraging Media KPIs, test results and other relevant insights). This includes consolidating media data and analyses from in-house digital activity with data from agency partners.

  • Monitor data quality and performance benchmarking to ensure data integrity and reliability.

  • Define and steer proxy metrics across the marketing funnel, focusing on upper and mid-funnel performance.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and contribute innovative ideas to enhance team and project outcomes.


WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF YOU

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field.

  •  6+ years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on marketing analytics and testing.

  •  Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Looker Studio, BI tools).

  •  Solid understanding of marketing KPIs, goals, and mechanics.

  •  Experience with A/B testing, brand lift studies, and other experimental methodologies.

  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.

  •  Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

  •  Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

  •  Experience with omnichannel marketing strategies and attribution steering.

  •  Familiarity with data mining techniques and performance benchmarking.
