The Role and The Team
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process and Controls Manager to join our dynamic Corporate Governance team. As a Process and Controls Manager at Zalando Payments, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development of the business process landscape. Your expertise in processes and controls will ensure the business’ processes are enabled while maintaining the highest compliance standards.
WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support in the development and documentation of business processes
Collaborate in the implementation of strategic projects, adding insights related to process, risk, and controls management
Support in the identification of risks in business processes
Support in the identification and development of risk-mitigating controls in business processes
Document processes based on Business Process Modeling and Notation (BPMN) standards
Continuously review business processes to identify improvement opportunities
Continuously test risk-mitigating controls to ensure their Operating Effectiveness
Continuously review the business process landscape to identify need for processes implementation and documentation
Be the contact point of business stakeholders for process and controls related topics
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
Degree in business management, engineering, finance, computer science, or a comparable course of study
Proven experience as a Process and Controls Manager in the fintech or financial services industry.
Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance, in particular FINTECH and IT, as well as good knowledge of practice-relevant standards such as ISO, ZAIT, MARisk.
Outstanding problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
