As a Software Engineer in our Content Creation team, you will help to build the article catalog for all Zalando shops in all countries. We transform items from the analog world into the digital one - in a quality that clearly separates Zalando from other platforms - with tools having the potential to shape the future in this field.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
Build the core content creation system in a RESTful microservice architecture
With your team, you'll work together in the entire software development lifecycle - from the requirements the definition of the target architecture and development up until the operation on AWS
Grow and define your career while solving something that matters.
Collaborate on department-wide projects with other delivery teams and our business unit
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
4+ years of hands-on experience in backend development. Good understanding of RESTful API and event driven architectures.
2+ years of experience in developing client side applications using ReactJS.
Experience with Java, Spring and open to work with other languages such as Kotlin, Python and Go
Expertise in building robust and scalable applications
Experience with SQL database
Experience in working with, at least, one cloud platform
