YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You own the AWS infrastructure beneath our CORE application
You are responsible and accountable for the costs of the infrastructure ( > 1 million / year)
You will work with your team to create a fail-safe environment, which provides the same performance and reliability 24x7
You lead engineers in an agile team who create concepts for improving our infrastructure and bring them to life
With technical experts and architects, you build a roadmap in compliance with company standards
You drive timely and predictable delivery of projects and initiatives within your team
You ensure the reliability and quality of the team's systems
You guarantee incidents are being responded to and the team learns from them to continuously improve
You provide our application teams with consulting and expertise to create the best solutions for Tradebyte
You bring company strategies and business needs into engineering to ensure outcome-focused work is done
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You have 7+ years of track record in infrastructure engineering
You have expertise for cloud-based infrastructure, preferably AWS
Experience with LAMP Stack would be nice to have
You bring a strong ability to lead, inspire, engage and coach a team
With your excellent communication skills and empathy, you ensure your projects are well managed and you have a good relationship with your stakeholders
You have experience in SaaS in a B2B context and understand the e-commerce business with its technology landscape
Must be willing to be on-site with the team at least one day per month in Germany
You are fluent in written and spoken English
